We had a big Easter weekend. For Christians, Easter is such an important time of remembering how Jesus died so that we could have new life and have it abundantly. For us, Easter now also reminds us of Liam's life and the miracle that he is for us.
Saturday, Liam went to the church Easter Egg hunt. With help from his friends and family, he collected 3 eggs! Last year, Easter Sunday was spent at the doctor with our very own Easter Egg hunt - it was right before our IVF procedure and we had to go have my eggs checked to see if they were ready. Fortunately, we found enough...
This past week was the 1-year anniversary of finding out that we were pregnant and being in shock. I've been remembering all those emotions and feelings I had. Disbelief, excitement, caution, fear, amazement, joy, being overwhelmed. And also being hungry :-)
This year, we celebrate new life in so many ways that it's hard to describe. We are so grateful and in awe of God's miracles, particularly the special little one he gave to us.

What a sweet "little man." We loved spending some special time with Liam during this wonderful Easter season. He was such a nice addition to Wade's birthday party. What a little doll baby with his "big boy" outfit on. His Dad took real good care of him while Mommy was away. Such a blessing.....a sweet baby! Marsha
