Big Man

He is getting to be such a big man. Just this week he has perfected the art of turning from his back to his front. He doesn't know what to do once he's turned over, except to grunt and squirm around. He's never been a big fan of tummy time. Eventually he gets frustrated and ultimately mad, at which point mom or dad turns him back over. It's not 10 seconds later, though, that he's rolled over again.

He has FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER slept for 5 - 6 hours straight...for 4 nights in a ROW. I think it's because he has discovered that, while tummy time isn't fun, sleeping on his stomach feels good.

He's such a happy little man who laughs and smiles and interacts in way that just melts my heart.

He's getting into more "big boy" clothes, like this precious Ralph Lauren outfit Allison (and Madeline, of course) gave him. Looks like something Daddy would wear.

He drools uncontrollably and loves to suck on his entire hand, if he can. His legs are so strong and he loves to stand in your lap. He has gotten really good at jumping in his swing hanging in the door. His grip is strong and he's started reaching and grabbing more at toys which he tries to then put straight in his mouth. He loves story time, especially the pictures. He's chunky and solid and loves to cuddle, even though he can be quite squirmy at times.

Most of all he loves people and is so responsive to the human face and voice, especially of little ones.

Can you tell I'm in love?
