He is very active and is usually crawling or cruising after something. He also likes to push things around - he is quite proud of himself when he can do this. He is very interested in trying to figure out how things work. Like his light switch he learned how to turn on. and off. and on. and off. Needless to say, we've moved the crib out from the wall. He's reaching for door knobs and the bathtub faucet to turn it on. He likes to open and close things and figure out what buttons and levers are for.
He's eating some big boy food now, especially at school. Today, he had mashed potatoes, green peas and apples. He's getting better and better at using his fingers to pick up his food.
He is still not sleeping through the night and will wake up 1-2 times to eat. And, seriously, he takes a full bottle whenever he wakes up and he's not going back to sleep until he gets enough. We're hoping Dr. Gilbert has some magic advice for us when we go to his 1-year appt. next month about how to get him to sleep through the night.
He's very social and loves people. He'll easily let others hold him and usually flirts and charms. If he's in a place that he's not familiar, he will take his time to check it out and is very serious until he gets his bearings.
