Liam turned 2 years old on December 15! He had a big birthday starting with a birthday party at school on his actual birthday date. He had cookies, fruit snacks, apple juice and cheese for snacks. He didn't want to sit at the table with everyone else. Mostly he observed his birthay party! He was VERY excited when Daddy came with the balloons. AND he even shared them with his buddies, as long as he had one in each of his hands.
After school, we stopped by the clinic because Ms. Barbie had special birthday surprises for Liam, including a whole bunch of balloons. He was THRILLED and took them all over the clinic as he went to see the animals.
On Saturday, we had his birthday party. That morning when he woke up he wanted to sit at the "party table" to eat his breakfast. By all means!
It should be no surprise that Liam's birthday party theme was balloons. We bought a helium tank and blew up 40 balloons and had about a dozen mylar balloons around the house. For Liam, this was the best part. You can see he ate breakfast with his pre-party balloons. The party table was decorated with pictures of Liam from the past year, a picture he drew of balloons (his favorite thing) and his birthday runner that everyone signed.
He had a great time eating b'day cake with his older girlfriends, GG, Madeline and Lillie. Sweet, sweet girls!
He got many wonderful and fun gifts, which he has been playing with all week! Here he is on the tractor from Papa and JJ.
Liam was very kind and shared his kitchen with his guests. Everyone was really busy cooking in the kitchen. Liam mostly dumped things out.
After the party, Aunt Bessie called to sing him Happy Birthday. Liam LOVES talking to Aunt Bessie on the phone. He is all smiles.
Liam had a big birthday and was worn out that night, especially since that afternoon we travelled to Blountsville for a family get-together with my dad's side of the family. When we got home, he just wanted to play with the balloons.
