Random Happenings

I've been trying to capture some of his cute little habits and behaviors.

Just yesterday he came home from school and showed us he had learned to clap! He had a big birthday party for Alex and apprently had a visit from a policeman and a fireman! I was very tickled to find a sticker on him after school for "GREAT: Gang Resistance Education Awareness Training."

Lately, his favorite push toy is the laundry basket. He has lots of fun pushing it around and playing with it.

Randomly, Liam will just stop and lie down on the floor for about 2 seconds and then resume his play. We always say, "awe," and then get tickled.

He's fascinated with electronics and, in particular, the remote control. We've gotten our old VCR remote and taken out the batteries, so Liam has his very own. He also has an old travel alarm clock that he just loves. Another one of his favorite things to do is to take a CD and push it around. He has all these colorful, fun toys, but would rather play with other things!

With the beautiful weather, his class has been able to get out on the playground. Every day this week I've picked him up dirt stains on his pants and bottom, filthy fingernails, and dirt "crumbs" around his mouth! I believe it's safe to say he's having fun at this stage in his life. I know we are.

This whole post could have been written about John Marshall. These two obviously spend a lot of time together :)

This will make you smile: Liam has his own remote control, and John Marshall has his own cell phone (it's one of my old cells). We are all the time picking it up and saying, "Ring ring! Hello? Liam? Wait, hold on...John Marshall, it's for you!" And he does the scrunchy smile and grabs for it to "talk" to his buddy :)
